Yellowcraig (Yellow Craig)
East Lothian

A location comprising a beach, picnic area and caravan park on the southern shore of the Firth of Forth, Yellowcraig (sometimes Yellow Craig) is located a mile (1.5 km) north of Dirleton and 2¼ miles (3.75 km) west of North Berwick. Yellowcraig is designated a Local Nature Reserve and forms part of the Firth of Forth Site of Special Scientific Interest (SSSI). The habitat here comprises seashore, sand dunes, grassland and woodland, and has been managed by East Lothian Council since 1944. The John Muir Way passed through Yellowcraig.
