Den of Lindores

A hamlet in Abdie Parish, NW Fife, Den of Lindores is situated at the junction of the A913 and B936 roads 2 miles (3 km) southeast of Newburgh.

To the northwest stand the ruins of Denmylne Castle, a fortified house of the Balfour family and nearby are Lindores Loch and the old monastic farms of Grange of Lindores, Ormiston, Berryhill and Hilton
