Pitcairn
Fife

A residential district of N Glenrothes situated to the east of Collydean, between Western Avenue and Pitcairn Avenue. Pitcairn Outdoor Centre is located here and most of its streets and courts are named after Scottish artists. Located to the southeast, the House of Pitcairn was built in the 17th century but lay in ruins by the 1850s. The was investigated by archaeologists in 1980 but a gable wall remains extant.
