Kintillo

Perth and Kinross

Claiming to be the oldest village in Scotland, Kintillo with its neat thatched 18th-century cottages has now been largely subsumed as a southern suburb of Bridge of Earn, 3 miles (5 km) south of Perth. Immediately west is Kilgraston School built in 1793 by Francis Grant and converted into a school in the 1930s. There are the remains of an ice-house and a small Gothic chapel.
