A hamlet on the north side of Loch Tay in Perth and Kinross, Lawers lies on the Lawers Burn, 8 miles (13 km) northeast of Killin. Ben Lawers rises to 1214m (3984 feet) to the north. The ruins of old Lawers Church dating from 1669 lie by the loch side with the later Lawers Church built in 1833 for the Society for Propagating Christian Knowledge by the 1st Earl of Breadalbane. An early 19th-century grain mill and a smithy of the same period survive in the hamlet.
