Perth and Kinross

A settlement on the River Almond, Perth and Kinross, Dalcrue is situated nearly 2 miles (3 km) to the northeast of Methven and 2 miles (3 km) to the northwest of Almondbank. It is also sometimes known as Dalcruvie. The elegant 24.4-m (80-foot) span single-arched bridge across the Almond at Dalcrue was built in 1832-37 by William Henry Playfair who also designed Dalcrue House in 1832 for Lord Lynedoch.
