Dalginross, Comrie

A southern extension of Comrie in Strathearn, Perth and Kinross, Dalginross lies to the south of the River Earn at its junction with the Water of Ruchill. A Roman fort and camp have been identified to the southwest. The expansion of Comrie took place in the late 18th century with the influx of dispossessed Highland crofters who came to work in local textile, brewing and distilling industries.
