The Village of Caputh

An estate village with blue and white painted buildings in Perth and Kinross, Caputh lies on the A 984 road from Dunkeld to Meikleour, 4 miles (7 km) east of Dunkeld. Immediately south, the River Tay is crossed by the Victoria Bridge which was built in 1887 by Sir William Arrol for William Cox of Snaigow and Foggyley. Its girders are of identical design to the ones used on the Tay Rail Bridge at Dundee. The church at Caputh dates from 1798.
