Craigend

Perth and Kinross

A hamlet in Central Perth and Kinross, Craigend is situated between the River Earn and the River Tay, a mile (1.5 km) to the south of Perth. It lies on the old road to Perth from the south, and gives its name to the Craigend Interchange on the modern motorway. Immediately to the south the railway from Perth leaves the Moncrieffe Tunnel, and beyond is Hilton Junction where the line divides between the route to Glasgow (via Stirling) and Edinburgh (via Ladybank).
