Seamill Hydro

A resort village in the Cunninghame district of North Ayrshire, Seamill lies on the Firth of Clyde immediately to the south of West Kilbride. Originally built as a mill town, it developed in the late 19th century as a hydropathic centre for convalescents. as well as being a summer resort. The Seamill Hydro is now a hotel and was extended in the 1920s and again in the 1960s.
