A remote location on the upper reaches of the River Almond in Breadalbane (W Perth and Kinross) Dunan lies on the route of the Rob Roy Way, 4 miles (6.5 km) southeast of Ardtalnaig on the southern shore of Loch Tay. There is a house and sheep-fold here, while Dunan Hill rises to around 800m (2624 feet) on the slopes of Creagan na Beinne to the north.
