A village in Easter Ross, Rosemarkie lies on the Moray Firth coast of the Black Isle opposite Fort George and 1 mile (1.5 km) northeast of Fortrose. The Groam House Museum in the village is home to 15 Pictish stones and the nationally-important George Bain collection of Celtic Art.
