Shieldaig
Highland

The linear village of whitewashed cottages in Wester Ross, Shieldaig lies on the east shore of Loch Shieldaig, 14 miles (22 km) west southwest of Kinlochewe. Built in the 18th Century as a planned village, the village overlooks the 13 ha (32-acre) Shieldaig Island, which was acquired by the National Trust for Scotland in 1970, and gives views to the east over Upper Loch Torridon and Ben Liathach.

Another Shieldaig lies 12 miles (19 km) to the north.
