A small hamlet in Sutherland, Lower Gledfield is located a half-mile (0.8 km) northwest of Ardgay. Notable buildings are Gledfield Primary School, built in 1875 and refurbished in 2001, and Gledfield House which lies a half-mile (1 km) to the west southwest.
