Munlochy


Highland

A small settlement on the east coast of the Black Isle in Ross and Cromarty, Munlochy lies 6 miles (10 km) north of Inverness at the head of Munlochy Bay, an inlet of the Inner Moray Firth. It developed in the 19th century in association with the Fortrose branch of the Highland Railway and stone for Fort George was quarried nearby.
