Auchincloch
Falkirk

A location to the north of the Forth and Clyde Canal in W Falkirk, Auchincloch is the site of an early 19th C. grain mill, now converted for residential use. The Auchincloch Burn is a tributary of the Bonny Water. There is a farm at West Auchincloch. Human bones found in nearby fields and are believed to be those of men who fell in the Battle of Kilsyth (1645). Banknock lies a mile (1.4 km) to the east.
