Laggan


Highland

A small scattered settlement in the Great Glen, Laggan lies between Loch Lochy and Loch Oich, 3 miles (5 km) southwest of the settlement of Invergarry and 9 miles (14.5 km) southwest of Fort Augustus. The Laggan Cut is the highest section of the Caledonian Canal. The Laggan Swing Bridge lies a half-mile (1 km) to the north. There is another Laggan at a bridge over the upper reaches of the River Spey, 20 miles (32 km) to the east.
