A scattered crofting township on the north coast of Caithness in Highland, Huna lies a mile (1 km) northeast of Canisbay and 1¼ miles (2 km) west of John o' Groats. The harbour, now rather forlorn, once provided the embarkation point for a crossing to Stroma and to Orkney. Between 1877 and 1930 there was a lifeboat based here and the stone-built shed remains. Huna House was once a hotel.
