Inverinate
Highland

A small linear hamlet drawn out along the A87 road on the north shore of Loch Duich, Inverinate is located 10 miles (16 km) east southeast of Kyle of Lochalsh, and was once referred to as Kintail. The mid-19th century Inverinate House lies at the centre of the settlement, while Loch Duich Primary School opened in 1970 at the southeastern end of the settlement and the B-listed Kintail Parish Church (dating from 1856) lies between the two.
