A township on the island of Skye, Highland Council Area, Elgol lies 10 miles (16 km) southwest of Broadford close to the end of the Strathaird Peninsula. Inshore fishing boats land their catch at the pier here, which is also the departure point for boat trips to Loch Coruisk in the heart of the Black Cuillin. Nearby are Prince Charlie's Cave and the Spar Cave.
