Castle Stuart


Highland

A small settlement of E Highland Council Area, on the southern shore of the Moray Firth, Castle Stuart lies adjacent to the 17th century tower house of the same name, 2 miles (3 km) southwest of Dalcross Airport and 5 miles (8 km) northeast of Inverness. The parish church of Petty is located here, as is a motte. A large chipboard manufacturing plant is located on the railway, a half-mile (1 km) to the east.
