Highland

A location and farm in the parish Nigg in Easter Ross, Highland Council Area, Castlecraig lies on the Moray Firth, at the mouth of the Cromarty Firth, 2 miles (3 km) east of Nigg Ferry. The remains of castle date from the 12th Century when William the Lyon is said to have established a stronghold here to maintain law and order.
