A small farm in S Dumfries and Galloway, Barcloy is located 1½ miles (2 km) southeast of Whinnieliggate and 3¾ miles (6 km) east of Kirkcudbright. The names West and East Barcloy also appear between Rockcliffe and Colvend, 6 miles (10 km) to the east.
