Achmelvich
HighlandA small settlement on the west coast of Sutherland, Highland Council Area, Achmelvich lies to the northwest of Lochinver. On a rocky headland stands the Hermit's Castle, a modern single-roomed concrete building erected as a retreat in 1950 by a Norwich architect.
