Falkirk

A village lying between the Union Canal and Callendar Wood, 1¼ miles (2 km) southeast of the centre of Falkirk, which entirely comprises a public housing estate built in the early 1970s. In the 19th century the area was a farm of the same name. The work of the Scottish Special Housing Association, the entire development comprises white-harled grey-roofed houses and maisonettes. Hallglen benefits from a primary school and a sports centre.

The Hallglen Roundabout connects the road which runs through the village with the B8028. The Hallglen Railway Tunnel takes the Glasgow-Edinburgh mainline beneath the area.
