Kinleith (Kenleith)
City of EdinburghA location in SW Edinburgh Council area, Kinleith (once Kenleith) lies a half-mile south of Currie. The locality comprises the farms of Wester Kinleith, Middle Kinleith and Easter Kinleith. The weaver-poet James Thomson (1763 - 1832) lived at Middle Kinleith and the Poet's Glen is named in his honour.
