Hermiston
City of EdinburghA location in SW Edinburgh, Hermiston lies 5 miles (8 km) from the city centre. Comprising Long Hermiston, West, Mid and East Hermiston, the locality is divided by the Union Canal and the M8 extension. Hermiston House remains to the north of Heriot-Watt University. The A720 Edinburgh bypass immediately to the east.
