Dalblair
East AyrshireA small settlement in the E of East Ayrshire Council Area, Dalblair is located on the right bank of the Glenmuir Water, 5 miles (6 km) east of Cumnock. The remains of Kyle Castle are to be found here and James Hyslop (1798 - 1827), the poet who wrote the The Cameronian's Dream lived here as a boy, herding sheep.
