A location with a bridge in Dumfries and Galloway, Craigengillan lies at the junction of the Polifferie Burn and the Water of Ken, 5 miles (8 km) east northeast of Carsphairn. Craigengillan Hill rises to 401m (1315 feet) to the northwest and the Craigengillan Burn joins the Water of Ken to the south.
