Dumfries and Galloway

A small village of Annandale in Dumfries and Galloway, Dalton lies in a parish of the same name, 5 miles (8 km) south southwest of Lockerbie and 6½ miles (11 km) northwest of Annan. The B-listed church dates from 1895 by J. M. Dick Peddie (1853 - 1921) replacing an earlier structure of 1704, the ruins of which stand nearby.
