Dumfries and Galloway

A hamlet in Dumfries and Galloway, Carsluith lies on the shore of Wigtown Bay, 3 miles (5 km) south of Creetown. There is a village hall and a smokehouse. Last occupied in 1748, Carsluith Castle was a stronghold of the Cairns, Lindsay and Brown families.
