Bargrennan
Dumfries and Galloway

A hamlet in Dumfries and Galloway, Bargrennan lies by the River Cree on the A 714 road to Girvan, 9 miles (14 km) northwest of Newton Stewart. To the northeast is the Glentrool Forest. Between Bargrennan and Glentrool village is located the White Cairn, a chambered cairn dating from the 3rd Millennium B.C. Bargrennan lies on the Southern Upland Way.
