Teviothead
Scottish BordersA small village in Teviotdale, Teviothead lies to the south of the headwaters of the River Teviot, 8 miles (13 km) southwest of Hawick. Its inns served travellers on the road to Hawick and a scattered farming community now much reduced in size. Teviothead Primary School closed in 2004.
