Linton
Scottish Borders

A small settlement in a parish of the same name in the Roxburgh district of the Scottish Borders, Linton lies in the northern foothills of the Cheviot Hills, a mile (1.5 km) northwest of Morebattle and 6 miles south southeast of Kelso. The Kale Water flows to the south of the village and Linton Hill rises to 286 m (926 feet) nearby.
