Ednam


Scottish Borders

A village in a parish of the same name in the Roxburgh district of the Scottish Borders, Ednam lies on the Eden Water, 3 miles (5 km) north of Kelso. It was the birthplace of James Thomson, author of The Seasons (1700-48), and the hymn-writer H.F. Lyte (1793 - 1847).
