A location in the Bathgate Hills that was once an upland farm, but was incorporated as part of Beecraigs Country Park in 1980, Balvormie (traditionally pronounced 'boar-mee') lies a half-mile (0.8 km) southwest of the Park's visitor centre at Whitebaulks and 2 miles (3 km) south of Linlithgow. There are car parks which provide access to walking trails here, together with an archery range, keep-fit course, picnic area, barbeque area and toilets.
