Otter Ferry

Argyll and Bute

A small village and former ferry port in Kilfinan Parish on the eastern shore of Loch Fyne, Otter Ferry lies directly 5 miles (8 km) southeast of Lochgilphead and 12 miles (19 km) north of Millhouse. A small ferry once linked the settlement with Port Ann or West Otter Ferry in Knapdale and steamers stopped here in the early 20th century. A pedestrian ferry operated until the late 1940s.
