The hamlet of Auchenlochan is located a mile (1.5 km) south of Tighnabruaich in Argyll and Bute. Situated on the western shore of the Kyles of Bute, Auchenlochan overlooks the island of Bute to the east and the sea loch of Loch Riddon to the northeast.
