Argyll and Bute

A location and former settlement on the east shore of Loch Long in Argyll and Bute, Coulport lies 4 miles (6 km) north of Cove opposite Ardentinny with which it was once linked by ferry. The Kibble Crystal Palace (now in the Glasgow Botanic Gardens) was built at John Kibble's home in Coulport in 1872.
