Fionnphort
Argyll and Bute

A hamlet and ferry-port on the Ross of Mull (Argyll and Bute), Fionnphort overlooks the Sound of Iona, 35 miles (56 km) west of Oban. A passenger ferry leaves from here for the short crossing to Iona. A granite quarry operated between 1831 and 1910 to the north at Tormore.
