A scattered settlement on the island of Islay, Argyll and Bute, Kilmeny lies immediately south of Ballygrant and a half mile (1 km) south of the Ballygrant Burn midway between Port Askaig, on the island's northeastern coast, and Bridgend, at the head of Loch Indaal.
