Burnhaven

An Aberdeenshire fishing village on the North Sea coast, Burnhaven is situated at the southern end of Peterhead Bay, 2 miles (3 km) south of Peterhead. The village was created in the 19th Century by George Mudie of Meethill. It is now the site of a waterworks and HM Prison Peterhead.
