Bridge of Dun


Angus

A location in the Angus parish of Dun, Bridge of Dun is situated on the River South Esk, just west of the Montrose Basin and 4 miles (6 km) east of Brechin. A magnificent three-arched stone bridge which crosses the South Esk here was built 1785-87. Bridge of Dun Railway Station is the eastern termination of the Caledonian Railway.
