Little more than a collection of farm buildings, Kilpatrick lies a half-mile (1 km) southeast of Torosay Castle, overlooking Duart Bay on the eastern coast of the island of Mull, Argyll and Bute. Craignure lies 2 miles (3 km) to the northwest.
