Argyll and Bute

A settlement on the Cowal peninsula in Argyll and Bute, Clachan of Glendaruel lies on the River Ruel, in Glendaruel 4 miles (6 km) north of the head of Loch Riddon. In the churchyard are the Kilmodan Sculptured Stones, a collection of West Highland carved grave slabs under Historic Environment Scotland protection.
