Kilmichael Glassary

Argyll and Bute

A small settlement lying between Lorn and Knapdale in Argyll and Bute, Kilmichael Glassary lies on the right bank of the River Add, a half-mile (0.8 km) northeast of Bridgend and 4 miles (6.5 km) north of Lochgilphead. An early Christian centre associated with nearby Dunadd, Kilmichael Glassary was later the scene of a cattle market. Prehistoric cup and ring marked stones protected by Historic Environment Scotland are located here.
