Giffnock
East RenfrewshireAn affluent and leafy outer suburb of the Glasgow conurbation located in East Renfrewshire, Giffnock lies 5 miles (8 km) south of Glasgow city centre and just over a mile (2 km) south of Pollokshaws. Eastwood House, the former home of Viscount Weir, lies within the grounds of Eastwood Park and is used as a cultural and recreational venue. Giffnock benefits from a railway station and nearby is Rouken Glen Park.
