A location in Highland Council Area, Ardclach lies on the River Findhorn, 16 miles (25 km) east of Inverness. A two-storey fortified bell tower stands on the hill above the parish church of Ardclach. Built in 1655, it summoned worshippers to church and gave warning in times of alarm.
