Alvie
HighlandA scattered hamlet in Badenoch, Highland Council Area, Alvie lies in a parish of the same name between Loch Alvie and the River Spey, 3 miles (5 km) south of Aviemore. A granite column on Tor Alvie commemorates the 5th Duke of Gordon (1770 - 1836).
