A location on the south shore of Loch Rannoch, Perth and Kinross, Dall is situated 5 miles (8 km) west of Kinloch Rannoch in a clearing in the Black Wood of Rannoch that lies east of the Dall Burn. The Baronial-style Dall House dates from 1854 and was designed by Thomas Mackenzie (1814-54). This served as the main building of Rannoch School between 1959 and its closure in 2002, but is now again a private home.
